My Golf Bio
Background
Since 7 years old, I've played ice hockey (San Diego Junior Gulls) during the school year and junior golf ( NCJGA · SDJGA · FCT · AJGA ) in the summers.
As a high school freshman, I earned a spot on the varsity golf team which eventually won the 2009 California State Championship. The excitement of team golf convinced me to give up ice hockey and focus completely on golf.
2011 is the first time I've tried to qualify for national events and I learned that I have the ability to compete successfully at the highest levels. I may be a "late-bloomer" but I'm definitely trending in the right direction.
2011-2012 Golf Highlights
- 1st Place in 2012 Avacado League Championship at Twin Oaks
- 3st Place in 2012 Cal State Amateur Qualifier at Shadowridge
- Tied for 16th in 2011 AJGA Junior Challenge at Oak Valley
- Tied for 31st (of 170) in 2011 Optimist International at PGA National
- Qualified for 2011 Callaway Junior World at Torrey Pines by finishing in the top 5 in San Diego Junior Golf's 4 tournament qualifier series
